Estranha conferência de Imprensa

" As we’ve already reported, WW was kicked out of this morning’s news conference by the family of missing 7-year-old Kyron Horman.

But our reporter friends have continued to fill us in on what we missed. After mother Desiree Young gave a tearful statement, she answered some questions submitted by the media.

Here are one reporter’s notes from the question-and-answer session:

They said they were unable to answer any questions about.............. "

I sense that the family, especially Kaine, has been in denial for a long time along with living a lie.

Some people cannot handle the truth, and in this case, the truth is a hellish nightmare.

I’m not too surprised the family didn’t want WW at the press conference. I’ve been reading all of your articles on this case, and most of them seem to be speculation and hearsay. I’m not sure what happened to objectivity. I’ve been disappointed, as I expect more from WW.

there is nothing here in these alleged confidential, off-the-record disclosures, but PR boilerplate already “provided” by these family members repeatedly. these folks have every right to campaign to locate their son, but to pretend, and demand that the media pretend, that this is “news,” particularly news meriting abnegation of their professional duties by journalists, is ludicrous.

their insistence that the record as to the history of dysfunction and disturbance in this family, both sides and all members included, is irrelevant to this matter, and their demands that journalists comply with this, is more than ludicrous, it is grotesque.

“Everything taped as has to be held for air until Friday because Kyron went missing on a Friday.”

Can someone explain what this means? They want to control the release of information for symbolic reasons?

I must be misunderstanding this.

elizabethbennett: Ah, but much of the media do push this as “news.” Look at the goofball KATU coverage of this. It’s hilarious and sad.

This whole case is twisted. Something really bizarre is going on. Where do they think Terri took him or left him? SOld him? Had someone hid him? Why? Their who relationship with the media has been bizarre.

WHat is up with this family? Here we, the public, has implored Mr Harry Oakes to search for Kyron and he has responded and done so, yet the family nor LE would allow him even 1 item of Kyron’s for his scent. It isn’t just because it would mean he is dead. Mr Oakes has tracked MANY live people as well, straight to their location. What is up with that?

Desiree’s latest statement: “Kyron is alive”. Is this wishful thinking on her part or does she have more info from LE that we are not privvy to?

“Everything taped as has to be held for air until Friday because Kyron went missing on a Friday.”

WTF is that supposed to mean? I wonder WHO is making that silly stipulation?

How sad the mother who cared for Kyron 24/7 for seven years has no legal rights. Let this warn all step mothers who treat their spouse’s infants as their own son but in reality may abruptly loose them–whether to abduction, accident, of change of heart by an unempathic (with the toddler) spouse

They seem strange to me. All of them. I just hope that the outcome of this situation is a good one, that is all I can say at this point. I love to hear the details of a case and form an opinion as to what has happened but this one is just so twisted. There is so much more that meets the eye that it’s too hard to figure out with news reports alone.

These people have screwed up the most important thing they had to do in their lives. Now they want to play gods and goddess with the media? What fools. God help Kyron.
